After the riveting culmination of the Cape Town clash in the two-match Test series during India’s tour of South Africa,  spotlight shifted to Rohit Sharma during his press conference. The seasoned cricketer displayed his candid and assertive demeanour as he engaged with reporters, particularly addressing their unconventional questions with unreserved responses. Rohit, not one to mince words, took on the journalists with a captivating blend of wit and intensity. Amidst the exchange, one of Rohit’s responses stood out, capturing widespread attention for its sharpness and humour.

Rohit Sharma’s no-nonsense reply to reporter

During the press conference, when a reporter ventured to inquire about his presence in the upcoming Afghanistan T20I tour of India, Rohit responded with a cheeky remark that added a touch of humour to the interaction. In a lighthearted manner, he playfully suggested that the reporter might be using an excess of his intellectual faculties, injecting a witty note into his response.

“Dimaag laga rahe ho aap (You are using you brain)…let’s concentrate on Cape Town now,” Rohit answered the reporter.

Notably, the Test series between India and South Africa ended on level terms, with both sides winning each game. However, India managed to claim their first-ever Test Win at Newland, Cape Town, marking a big milestone for them.
