Kallis praises the decision to host T20 World Cup 2024 matches in the USA

Aside from discussing India’s team dynamics, Kallis expressed his satisfaction with the decision to include the USA as one of the hosts for T20 World Cup matches. “It is good that the game is growing and every time we go to new countries. Hopefully, America catches up with the game,” Kallis remarked, emphasizing the importance of expanding the reach of cricket to new and diverse audiences.

Touching upon the recent Test match between India and South Africa that ended in just two days, Kallis expressed disappointment at the quality of the pitch. While acknowledging the disappointment, he acknowledged that both teams had to play on the same surface, and India ultimately outplayed South Africa on the challenging pitch.

“It is sad that it went that way. You want two quality sides to playing on a good surface. A little disappointing but both sides had to play on that surface and India outplayed SA on a tough surface,” the Proteas legend reflected, highlighting the resilience and adaptability required in the game.
